Pictures from the 7th Annual Great LA Air Raid Event
Here's the first batch of pictures and video to come from the event.

This years Great Los Angeles Air Raid of 1942 event at the Fort MacArthur Museum was the most technically complicated event that we have ever staged. With close to 100 volunteers, and pyrotechnic effects that left many visitors wondering if they in fact had stepped back in time to that famous night in 1942 when all of Los Angeles wondered if we were in fact under attack. Special thanks go out to everyone who participated in making this event a real head turner! We especially want to recognize the assistance of Mr Maxwell DeMille and Dean Mora for providing such great entertainment. Pyrotechnic effects were provided by San Pedro's own Julian Jimenez and special thanks go out to Mark Mariscal of the Department of Recreation & Parks, as well as the staff of 15th District Councilwoman Janice Hahn for permit support. Dorothy Matich and all her friends for her help fundraising, Victory Searchlights of Santa Clarita, and Gunther's Yard of Long Beach for additional searchlight support, and Squadrons 107, 20, and 64 of the Civil Air Patrol (Torrance, Chino, and Pamona) for their help out in the parking lot. Another group of people that deserve special recognition are Andy Grant and Tom Minton from the Army Ground Forces Association (AGFA) who flew 3,000 miles to join us as part of our volunteer staff. I know that I have forgotten to thanks many people, but please know that your work is appreciated by all of us.
